New Universe Acupuncture specializes in pain management, and post-stroke recovery in Los Angelos County, Pasadena and East Pasadena, Arcadia, Temple City, San Gabriel, San Marino Monrovia. We provide integrative care combining acupuncture, cupping, manual therapy, medical massage therapy, and function-based rehabilitation.
We help patients with neck pain, back pain, shoulder injuries, spinal pain, hip pain, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. We also support post-stroke recovery by improving mobility, coordination, and neurological function through targeted acupuncture and scalp acupuncture rehabilitation strategies.
New Universe Acupuncture Inc works with Workers’ Compensation cases adjusters, and nurse case managers, and is proud to accept VA Community Care referrals. Our goal is to reduce pain, restore function, and help patients return to daily life faster and more effectively.

I'm so happy that I found Merry and Evangelos. I've been dealing with chronic back pain and sciatica for a year and a half. I spent the first 6 months stretching and doing yoga without improvement before I finally saw my doctor. Since, I've been doing physical therapy twice a week and those same stretches and exercises at home almost every day for close to a year with very little relief.
As soon as I started acupuncture with Merry, I felt immediately improvements in my pain management that well surpassed the previous several months of PT. And then I began Tui Na therapy with Evangelos and it accelerated my recovery and pain management even more.
I still have a lot of work to do on my spinal rehab journey but with the much needed help from Merry and Evangelos, I'm quite optimistic that I'll literally be in the best shape of my life!
